April in Paris / Hull Truck Theatre
"John Godber makes Al dour, laconic and superbly suspicious. Jane Godber, who usually works under the name Jane Thornton, has Bet simmering with annoyance.
Their comic exchanges are laced with a judicious mix of bitterness, resentment and fear and that is what makes this production so good." [The Stage]
